What I’m Wearing
Some mornings I wake up and decide to sleep “just a little bit longer” but that quickly turns into waking up 15 minutes before class starts or before I have to be at work. I’m hoping that I’m not alone in that . . . in fact, being a student with friends who are also students, I know that I am not alone in having “those” mornings!
I want to share a few simple tricks that make you feel and look put together, without consuming so much time (or effort)!
You can find the specific one I use by clicking the pink link but any moisturizer will do the trick! I feel like moisturizing your skin wakes it up & it is the best start to your morning skin care routine (except for washing your face of course)!
I love using the tanning lotion linked above but again, whatever you prefer totally works! I like using tanning lotion because it makes me feel like my skin tone is a little more even (without covering freckles) while giving me the slightest bit of coverage!
3. Eye Makeup
For myself, I add mascara and/or eyeliner. Whether or not I use eyeliner is typically dependent on how much time I have/would like to spend on my makeup. Eyeliner goes quickly for me (most of the time;) so thankfully eye makeup does not take much time in my morning routine!
Again, I prefer each product linked above! The blush really completes the look and creates some color on your face which helps with the “awake” look 😉
1 Peter 3:3-4
“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.
Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”
You were created in Christ’s image & are infinitely loved by Him. I hope you have a wonderful week!
